PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device for bathing by nursing care which can stably lift a placing table for a bathing person up and down by correctly synchronizing the lift-up and lift-down of a wire rope for pulling the placing table to lift the table up and down. SOLUTION: The upper parts of a pair of wire ropes 8L, 8R in right and left for pulling the pedestal 10 for a bathing person are guided in a horizontal direction by pulleys 23L, 23R, so that the upper ends of the respective wire ropes 8L, 8R are engaged and connected to a pair of sliding bars 4L, 4R. Both right and left screw parts 2L, 2R of a screw bar 2 rotatably supported by a supporting fixture 5 between a pair of main body fixing frames 1L and 1R are screwed with nuts 13L, 13R fixed on the bottoms of the pair of sliding bars 4L, 4R. Both the right and left screw parts 2L, 2R are formed so as to have opposite screwing directions each other, and the pair of sliding bars 4L, 4R approach and leave each other by the forward and reverse rotations of the screw bar 2.
