The disclosed device is directed towards an animal pen system (10) including a body (12) having a top surface (18) and a bottom surface (20) opposite the top surface (18). The body (12) is flexible and the body (12) defines a support wall (26) proximate a perimeter (24) of the body (12). The support wall (26) is configured to support a pen wall (16) disposed on the top surface (18) of the body (12). The support wall (26) is configured to demountably coupled to the pen wall (16).
