The method involves a base station converting an electric current from a supplying electrical source into a suitable radio signal, e.g. in the microwave range, and transmitting it. A receiving station is provided with a suitable receiver that converts the radio signal back into an electric current and operates the load with it. Each load can have an associated base station.
