<p>Elevator equipment capable of increasing the speed and lowering the noise of a machine room-less elevator with a roping of 1:1, storable even in a less space at the top part of a hoistway, and allowing a maintenance space for a hoist to be assured, wherein a hoist rope is formed of a flexible rope or a small diameter and highly strong steel rope to reduce the diameters of the hoist, sheaves, and return sheaves, the return sheaves are disposed parallel with the ceiling surface of the hoistway to lower the height dimension of the return sheave, and the return sheaves not parallel with the ceiling surface of the hoistway are disposed in a clearance between the wall of the hoistway and a car to bring the sheaves out of a specified clearance dimension at the top part of the hoistway for the car, whereby a space can be saved.</p> |
