<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid content stored in a container from leaking outside through a discharge pump even when a force to forcibly depress a nozzle locked to the upper limit position is applied in the discharge pump to be used for a commodity to be distributed and marketed with the nozzle locked to the upper limit position. <P>SOLUTION: Non-return valves 7a and 6a to open/close an outlet of a liquid chamber 5B in a discharge pump are opened as a coil spring 11 is shrunk (compressed) by the descent of a piston 6 in an urged condition in a constantly closing direction by a coil spring 11 to urge the piston 6 upwardly. In the discharge pump, a portion 12a to receive a lower end of the coil spring 11 to urge the piston 6 upwardly is movable slightly downwardly only in a predetermined range with the nozzle locked to the upper limit position (in a condition when the piston 6 is at the upper limit position). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
