<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality by avoiding toner from being concentratedly inputted into one part in a fixing device thereby preventing the occurrence of an image soil on recording paper. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: an operation part 120 capable of selecting a mode for altering a write reference position of a light beam in the main scanning direction on a photoreceptor to a predetermine position; a control part 130 for instructing the alteration of the write reference position according to the mode selection from the operation part 120; a synchronization detection reference voltage generating part 39 for generating voltage for adjusting a scanning write start position according to the instruction from the control part 130; and a synchronization detecting part 38 for outputting a synchronous signal for bringing the position into the write reference position according to the voltage from the synchronization detection reference voltage generating part 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
