<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method, and a program for management for a coated optical fiber of an optical cable that realize improved reliability and high efficiency of construction work for a network of optical fiber cable etc. <P>SOLUTION: A PDA 3 sends a request for an operation information and identification codes corresponding to an optical fiber identifiers of the existent optical fiber to be operated and the destination optical fiber to be connected that the operation information shows to a management server 1 managing the optical fiber information. The management server 1 receives a data request and sends request data back. The PDA 3 receives the operation information and identification codes. Further, the PDA 3 inputs identification codes added to the existent optical fiber and destination optical fiber to be connected by a two-dimensional code reader 3-1 reading the identification codes. When the identification codes received from the management server 1 match the identification codes inputted from the two-dimensional code reader 3-1, the PDA 3 decides they are the optical fiber scheduled to be connected and displays the decision result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
