<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DBF (digital beam forming) radar that can detect a plurality of targets in a short time without providing a plurality of reception means for beam formation. <P>SOLUTION: A target detecting circuit 120 detects positional information of the target based on a timing signal from a transmission control circuit 140 and an I/Q signal from a pulse compression circuit 100. The transmission control circuit 140 controls pulse output timing in a transmission pulse generator 10, based on the positional information, and controls a passing phase in a phase-shifting circuit 30. The transmission control circuit 140 thereby transmits successively pulse signals toward the plurality of targets when plurality of targets exist. A beam scanning control circuit 130 controls beam forming directions in a DBF circuit 90 and switching timing thereof, based on the positional information and the timing signal from the transmission control circuit 140, and generates the I/Q signals for the plurality of targets in order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
