<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor in which a separated lubricating oil is unlikely to stagnate in an oil separating means. <P>SOLUTION: The compressor includes a rear housing 4 furnished with a gas return passage 54 as a return passage to put a ring-shaped port 51b in a pedestal part 42 in communication with an oil reservoir chamber 35. The gas return passage 54 extends in the radial direction of the housing and is positioned approximately parallel with a through hole 36. The gas return passage 54 is set to a diameter smaller than the through hole 36 (for example, approximately 1 mm) and functions as a passage to return the refrigerant gas having intruded into the oil reservoir chamber 35 to the ring-shaped port 51b (discharge passage). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
