PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent having high absorbing capacity to both of cyclohexane and ethylene oxide, and to provide a method of removing ethylene oxide from cyclohexane and/or ethylene oxide-containing air by using the absorbent.

SOLUTION: The absorbent for cyclohexane and ethylene oxide is active carbon comprising sulfuric acid of 0.43 to 1.29 mol/l. In the method of removing cyclohexane and/or ethylene oxide, the absorbent is brought into contact with cyclohexane and/or ethylene oxide-containing air.
