<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fatty acid alkyl ester diesel fuel that satisfies the quality as a diesel fuel and never causes solidification at low temperature by using fat and oil as a starting material. <P>SOLUTION: This invention is a fatty acid alkyl ester diesel fuel that is produced by adding, as a cloud point-lowering agent, one or two or more of medium-chain fatty acid mono-, di- or tri-glycerides and 2-10C alkyl alcohols to the fatty acid alkyl ester that is prepared by purifying the transesterification reaction product between fat and oil and alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
