PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intend to reduce dynamic spring constant relative to idling vibration. SOLUTION: A device provides a vibration-proof mechanism 1 formed in an insulator 2 and an insulator 2 in series between an upper connecting member 6 which is connected to a vibrator and a lower connecting member 9 which is connected to car body side. The vibration-proof mechanism 1 comprises a main chamber 12 in which liquid is enclosed, an auxiliary chamber 16 which is connected to the main chamber 12 via a first orifice 15', an air chamber 18 which is provided in a downward portion of the auxiliary chamber 16, a third liquid chamber 123 which is connected to the main chamber 12 via a second orifice 125, and an equilibration chamber 13 which is partitioned and formed via a second diaphragm 11 with respect to the third liquid chamber 123. The device provides a switching means 3 which introduces negative pressure or atmospheric pressure into the equilibration chamber 13, and a control means 5 which controls operation of the switching means 3.
