PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle wherein the size of a liquid crystal display can be set corresponding to the quantity of information to be displayed by enhancing the degree of freedom of a layout combined with an analog meter, while an increase of manufacturing costs is suppressed. SOLUTION: A transparent guide light member 19 guiding illumination light from an LED 20 for a liquid crystal to the rear surface side of a rear side liquid crystal display glass member 16c is provided on the rear surface side of a diffusion plate 18. A diffusion extended part 19h intervening between an LED 21 for a dial plate and a dial plate part 17a and diffusing illumination light from the LED 21 for the dial plate is projectingly provided upwardly from an end part 19a so as to be integral with the transparent guide light member 19.
