PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve body locking device capable of fixing a valve body at a fully closed position, at a fully opened position, and at a plurality of intermediately opened positions in a compact structure. SOLUTION: A butterfly valve has the valve body 54 rotatable around a center axis of valve rods 52 and 53 located in a valve box 51. A lock pin 59 opposite to an end face of one of the valve rods 52 and 53 in an axial direction is detachably mounted on the valve box 51, and a fitting hole 60 capable of inserting the lock pin 59 is arranged on an end face of the valve rod 53. The sectioned shapes of the lock pin 59 and the fitting hole 60 are formed in a polygonal shape which is further a symmetrical shape around the center axis with at least 90°intervals.
