PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow melting apparatus of excellent heat efficiency capable of efficiently performing snow melting work. SOLUTION: This snow melting apparatus is provided with a body 12 into which snow to be melted is thrown; a hot water storage tank 14 made of a metallic material and arranged almost at the center of a lower face inside the body; a combustion duct 20 disposed in the hot water storage tank: a burner 22 for supplying hot air to the combustion duct; one or a plurality of pipelines 16 extending from the hot water storage tank to an upper part in the body; a pump 18 interposed at the pipeline; one or a plurality of shower parts 16a provided at the suitable parts of the pipeline; an exhaust duct 24 extending from the combustion duct to the outside of the hot water storage tank to allow exhaust gas from the combustion duct to pass through; and a blower 26 disposed in the body.
