PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a waterproofing structure of an electric fan motor which can improve waterproofing performance of the motor and realize cost reduction. SOLUTION: A drain hole 42 is formed on a peripheral wall part 20A of a motor yoke part 20 of the electric fan motor 12. Corresponding to the drain hole 42, a drain pipe 44 is collectively formed in a shroud 16 to which the motor yoke part 20 is fixed. As a result, attaching of a dedicated drain pipe in an electric fan motor 12 side like conventional one becomes unnecessary, so that the number of components and the cost are reduced. Since the drain pipe 44 has labyrinth structure, waterproofing performance of the motor is also improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
