PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photosensitive material excellent in image preservability and having improved physical properties of film. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material which has an image forming layer containing a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder on the same surface of a support, is characterized in that (a) a silver iodide content of the photosensitive silver halide is 40-100 mol% and (b) a silver-saving agent is contained.
