PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical filling packer, in which an article is poured into a cylindrical film, and the cylindrical film filled with the article is drawn through ironing rollers and is heat sealed by a heat sealing unit to make a packaging bag, and the opening/closing speed and the extend of opening of the ironing rollers can be adjusted easily according to an article. SOLUTION: A drawing unit 40 has a pair of the ironing rollers 41, ironing roller arms 42, which support the ironing rollers 41 and can be swung on arm rotating shafts 44, respectively, and a drive mechanism 50 which swings the ironing roller arms 42. The drive mechanism 50 has a servomotor SM of a drive source, and the power from the servomotor SM is transmitted to the ironing roller arms 42 via a link mechanism 57. The opening/closing speed and the extend of opening of the ironing rollers 41 can be changed by controlling the revolution of the servomotor SM. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
