PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tire holding device capable of preventing damage to a vehicle body when a spare tire is accommodated in and taken from a luggage room. SOLUTION: A single side of a spare tire 18 is raised, so as to separate a second holding stand 14 from a first holding stand 12. Then, the second holding stand 14 is fitted to a rear raising part 16 at a groove-shape part 18. The spare tire 18 and the first holding stand 12 are drawn. Under the condition in which the spare tire 18 is inclined, one part of the tire is put on a bottom face 90 of the second holding stand 14. From this condition, the spare tire 18 is taken from the luggage room. Because a rear raising part 16 which is one art of the vehicle body is covered with the second holding stand 14, the spare tire 18 can be prevented from damage when drawn from the luggage room.
