PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to a loader or a machine tool due to interference while minimizing the degradation of productivity by reducing a speed only for a given time subject to many uncertainties after starting. SOLUTION: This loader control device 1 for controlling the loader 2 for carrying works W into and out of the machine tool 3 comprises an automatic operation control means 19 for automatically operating the loader 2 and a speed managing means 23 for driving the loader 2 at a first speed. The speed managing means 23 drives the loader 2 at a second speed slower than the first speed for a given time after the operation of the loader 2 is started by the automatic operation means 19.
