PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device for taking the output of a sensor provided on a driving shaft with less influences of vibration and impact of a pulse generator. SOLUTION: A slip ring 9 is arranged on an air motor 2 at the opposite side to a mechanical pulse generating mechanism 3. A wire 6 extending from a distortion sensor 5 provided on a cylindrical portion 42 is electrically connected to a first portion 91 of the slip ring 9 via a hole 44 passing through the driving shaft 4 and a guide pipe 7. The guide pipe 7 is mounted indirectly or directly on the driving shaft 8 so as to be non-rotatable relative thereto but rotatable relative to an output shaft 21 of the air motor 2.
