The stripping device for the cleaning of conveyor belts has a stripping element installed in a holder and with a wiper strip (3) fastened on a base component and provided with ceramic or hard metal materials. The entropy-elastic wiper strip consists of a converted natural substance, a polymerizate, a polyaddition or natural rubber in which is embedded granular particles (5) of ceramic, corundum or hard metal over its whole length (L) and width (B) of the area (3a) facing the conveyor belt.
