A process for producing a curved, fibre reinforced hose type construction made of rubber and reinforcement layers, comprises applying a primary rubber layer to the circumference of a mandrel (1), spirally winding a number of parallel reinforcing fibres (3) at a defined angle to the advancing axis, and surrounding (1) with fibres, using a rotating member (2) which is located around it.
