BASE BAND CIRCUIT AND RECEIVER PROVIDED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base band circuit low in consumption current and capable of eliminating DC offset voltage included in an output after base band signal amplification highly precisely, and to provide a receiver using the base band circuit.

SOLUTION: VGAs (Variable Gain Amplifier) 101 to 104 in which a prescribed gain is set amplify an input base signal such that average amplitude becomes constant. A DC offset elimination circuit 105 extracts a DC offset voltage with a differential output of the VGA 104 as an input and outputs a differential current proportional to the DC offset voltage. An output of the DC offset elimination circuit 105 is connected to an output of the VGA 104.
