<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an optical disk apparatus for stably outputting a laser diode during shift periods. <P>SOLUTION: In the method, when reproducing data, a control voltage VRDC_R is output from a first voltage output circuit 14 so that output power of a light-emitting element is maintained constant, and when the data are deleted or recorded, a control voltage VRDC_W is output from the output circuit 14 so that at least a part of a current flowing into the light emitting element is maintained constant, and a control voltage VWDC_W is output from a second voltage output circuit 16 so that the output power of the light emitting is maintained to be constant. Before shifting to the deletion or recording of the data, the control voltage of the output circuit 16 is set to a value which the subtracted the difference between the control voltages VRDC_R and the VRDC_W, and the control voltage VWDC_W. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
