<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color thermal recording material with a high printing speed. <P>SOLUTION: The multi-color thermal recording material has at least two layers of thermal recording layers each comprising a diazonium compound and a coupler reacting with the diazonium compound to develop a color on a substrate. As two layers of the thermal recording layers, a thermal recording layer (layer B) comprising a first diazonium salt compound with a maximum absorbing wave length of 450±65 nm and the other thermal recording layer (layer C) comprising a second diazonium salt compound with a maximum absorbing wave length of 360±25 nm exist on a substrate in this order from the substrate side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
