摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound volume adjustment apparatus capable of attaining a sound output with high quality even when a general-purpose analog attenuator is used. <P>SOLUTION: A detection circuit 24 detects the level of an R signal from the VR 1 of the analog attenuator 18 wherein VR1, VR2, VR3 are operated interlocked with each other, and a detection circuit 26 detects the level of an L signal from the VR2 and supplies the detection signals to a CPU 28. The CPU 28 measures a deviation between the R and L signals by each rotary angle detected by the VR3 and stores the result to a memory 30. When a user operates the analog attenuator 18, the CPU 28 reads the deviation corresponding to the rotary angle at the operation from the memory 30 and gives a command to a DSP 10. The DSP10 adjusts the levels of the R and L signals through an arithmetic operation so as to eliminate the deviation between the R and L signals on the basis of the command from the CPU 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
