PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base that gives two different contact options and an electric bulb with the base.

SOLUTION: The base (2) has fixing means (21) for an electric container (1) and a base (22) comprising an electric insulation material having at least two first electric contacts (31, 32 and 33) used for supplying energy to at least one lightning means. The base (22) has at least two secondary electric contacts (41, 42 and 43). Each one of the secondary contacts (41, 42 or 43) are connected electrically conductive to the first electrical contacts (31, 32 or 33).
