PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of simply and objectively evaluating the building and the environment used or utilized by a predetermined handicapped person. SOLUTION: The living environment evaluation device 10 comprises a humanoid main body 11 able to express a functional handicap and a structural handicap of the predetermined handicapped person, a computer provided on the humanoid main body 11, and further an evaluation means 13 for evaluating whether or not the predetermined building and environment is suitable for the handicapped person. The evaluation means 13 is provided with a judging part 38 for performing a certain judgment in the case of the evaluation, and an evaluation deciding means 39 for deciding the contents of the evaluation according to the result of the judgment by this judging part 38.
