PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive resin suitable as a binder resin in a white colored conductive primer coating for a plastic molded article. SOLUTION: This conductive resin is obtained by radical-polymerizing (a) at least one kind of a polymerizable unsaturated monomer selected from methacrylic acid and a methacrylic acid ester, or at least one kind of the polymerizable unsaturated monomer with (b) a copolymerizable unsatrated monomer other than the (a) in the presence of a fission by an addition type chain transfer agent and as necessary a radical polymerization initiator for producing a macromonomer (I), and then polymerizing (c) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer in the presence of the macromonomer (I) and as necessary, the radical polymerization initiator, and is characterized with that at least one of the copolymerizable unsaturated monomer (b) and the polymerizable unsaturated monomer (c) contains a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having at least one kind of an ionic functional group selected from a quaternary ammonium salt group, tertiary sulfonium salt group, quaternary phosphonium salt group, carboxylic acid group, sulfonic acid group and phosphoric acid group.
