<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas insulated switchgear in which parts can be easily mounted and damage of a bellows is prevented, and damage to a part jointing part caused by an impact force at switching-on is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A vacuum valve A comprises a vacuum container 15 composed of a valve insulation cylinder 11, a fixed side end plate 13a, and a movable side end plate 13b; a fixed side electrode 17a in the vacuum container 15; a movable side electricity conduction rod 16b penetrating through the movable side end plate 13b adapted to vertically move by an operation mechanism; a movable side electrode 17b arranged at the top part of the movable side electricity conduction rod 16b, contacting with and separating from the fixed side electrode 17a; and a bellows 18 for the movement of the movable side electricity conduction rod, of which both ends are connected with the movable side electricity conduction rod 16b and the movable side end plate 13b. The valve insulation cylinder 11 is housed in a pressurized container 21, an end part of a movable side insulation body 25 surrounding the part of the movable side electricity conduction rod 16b at the outside of the movable side end plate 13b is connected to the peripheral part of the outer surface of the movable side end plate 13b.
