PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device having a redundant system for continuing driving of the device, even if a failure occurs in a harness due to a flying stone, etc. SOLUTION: This steering device 10 is provided with a steering torque detecting part 20 for detecting steering torque, a target current determining part 31 for determining motor current according to the steering torque outputted from the steering torque detecting part 20, and a driving circuit part for supplying current to the motor according to the motor current determined by the target current determining part 31. The driving circuit part has the same driving circuit of two routes. Each two of motor harnesses 19L and 19R for connecting the driving circuit part and the motor 19, power supply harnesses 25L and 25R for connecting the driving circuit part and a battery 25 for supplying power to the driving circuit part, and torque sensor harnesses 20L and 20R for connecting the steering torque detecting part 20 and the target current determining part 31 are provided to pass different places of a vehicle.
