STATOR FOR ROTATING MACHINE, AND ITS ASSEMBLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator for a rotating machine which can achieve the downsizing of a manufacturing facility and the reduction of the cost by shortening the press-fitting stroke at the time of press-fitting the rear end of each tooth into the groove of a yoke. SOLUTION: Each groove 2a of the yoke 2 is composed of a first groove 2a1 to a third groove 2a3 with its width becoming larger in stages. A first press-fitting part 3a1 to a third press-fitting part 3a3 with its width becoming larger in stages are provided at the rear end of a tooth 3, and these press-fitting parts are press-fitted each in the first groove 2a1 to the third groove 2a3 of the yoke, thereby coupling each tooth with the yoke.
