PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a FAX slave unit light emission display mechanism excellent in visibility which enables a user to confirm an incoming call and a charging state even from a FAX slave unit back surface without increasing the number of components or man-hours. SOLUTION: This FAX slave unit light emission display mechanism is provided with a liquid crystal display part 2 on a FAX slave unit surface, a light transmission plate 3 disposed on the back surface of the liquid crystal display part 2, an LED 4 for making light incident on the light transmission plate 3, and a back surface light emission part 9 formed on the FAX slave unit back surface 6. The light transmission plate 3 is provided with a liquid crystal display part illumination part 3a for illuminating the liquid crystal display part 2 and an end face light emission part 3b extended from the liquid crystal display part illumination part 3a, whose end part is disposed at the back surface light emission part 9.
