DATA RECORDING DEVICE, DATA STORAGE DEVICE, AND MEDIATION INFORMATION PROCESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional information processing system which transfers received data can not effectively use, for example, a large-capacity hard disk (e.g. the large-capacity hard disk of a data video recorder with the hard disk) which was purchased and unused at home since the information processing system stores contents on a predetermined server device and accesses them. SOLUTION: A data recording device is equipped with a judgement part which judges whether the free capacity of a data storage part meets a certain condition and a data transmission part which transmits data of the data storage part to another data storage device having necessary free capacity when the judgement part judges that the certain condition is met.
