PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concavo-convex block and a concavo-convex brick which permit the quick and easy execution of masonry work with increased strength. SOLUTION: Both the concavo-convex block and the concavo-convex brick can be laid up at a speed several times quicker than that of a conventional block or brick. The concavo-convex block and the concavo-convex brick are designed to permit concavo-convex interlocking and automatically creating a straight center line by only laying them up. They can be laid up by only interlocking concave portions to convex portions without causing deviation such as a lateral slip or sticking out even though several hundreds of the blocks or bricks are laid as long as they are accurately and automatically laid to create a straight center in conformity with a laying standard.
