PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit for preventing a contact failure by destroying an oxidized coat of a connector pin, without consuming additional electric power and without impairing normal operation of electronic devices. SOLUTION: A connector 3 electrically connects a power source 1 and a main circuit 2. When the power source 1 is turned on to activate the main circuit 2, a capacitor C1 is started to be charged to gradually raise voltage V(-) from a grounding level. While the voltage V(-) is lower than a voltage V(+), a transistor Q1 is in ON state, allowing current to flow through the connector 3, a resistor R6, and the transistor Q1. When the voltage V(-) exceeds the voltage V(+) after a predetermined period of time, the transistor Q1 is turned to OFF state to stop the current. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
