SHAPE FORMING METHOD FOR WIRING LAYOUT DIAGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape forming method forming the shape of a wiring diagram suited for a wiring layout and erasing unnecessary parts of the wiring by a high speed computer graphics of a simple algorithm. SOLUTION: This shape forming method recognizes a connecting terminal region out of the wiring layout diagram (S100). The respective edges of the external form of the wiring layout diagram are recognized and classified (S102 and S104). The classified edges of the wiring layout diagram are divided using the edges of the connecting terminal region and edges in the inside direction of the wiring layout diagram are searched for the respective divided edges (S110 and S112). Secondly, the presence/absence of the edge in the connecting terminal region is determined and the respective edges are moved to prescribed positions according to the results of the determination (S114-S118).
