PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accessing the set screen of equipment without inputting an URL, whereas a method for performing a setting by use of a Web browser is conventionally widely used for setting of network equipment such as a home router, but in order to realize this, it is necessary to acquire the URL for accessing the setting screen possessed by the equipment and input it to the Web browzer. SOLUTION: When performing communication with a partner not present in the same network in the Web browser, an HTTP request is first transmitted to a default gateway. The URL of the HTTP request is corrected so that the equipment set as the default gateway forcedly access the preset setting screen, whereby a user can access the setting screen even if he/she does not know the URL of the setting screen.
