PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve core separability by quantitatively grasping the curing state of a colored layer surface of a colored optical fiber and accurately setting it. SOLUTION: A ribbon (10) of coated optical fibers is characterized in that a colored layer (14) of a colored optical fiber (15) is formed by using an ultraviolet-ray setting composition (3AL, 3BL) containing a coloring agent used to form a coloring agent containing cured body having a contact angle (β), and oxygen density and an ultraviolet-ray irradiation quantity. A drop (W) of water is arranged on the surface of an ultraviolet-ray containing cured body (3AS, 3BS) formed by coating a surface of a sheet body (1) with the ultraviolet-ray setting resin composition (3AL, 3BL) containing the coloring agent and irradiating the surface with ultraviolet rays whose irradiation quantity is adjustable in an atmosphere wherein the oxygen density is adjustable to cure the composition, and the contact angle (β) measured in this st ate is >70°.
