PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking utensil and a cooking auxiliary utensil which realize adjustment of moisture in a dome-shaped lid, in the case of using the dome-shaped lid in cooking of an object to be heated. SOLUTION: The cooking utensil is provided with the dome-shaped lid 101 and the cooking auxiliary utensil 103 arranged so as to be interposed between the opening-side edge part 101A of the dome-shaped lid 101 and an iron plate 500. The cooking auxiliary utensil 103 has a flat part 103a having a circular outer shape along the outer peripheral shape of the opening-side edge part 101A of the dome-shaped lid 101 and coming into contact with the iron plate (heating member) 500 and a recess part area 103b provided so as to accept the whole periphery of the opening-side edge part 101A of the dome-shaped lid 101 and opening upward. At the opening-side edge part 101A of the dome-shaped lid 101, a notch area 102 for communicating the outside and inside of the dome-shaped lid 101 with each other is formed.
