PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting a damper in a storing device capable of easily mounting a tip end of a cord of a cord type air damper. SOLUTION: This damper mounting structure comprises a storing body B supported by a support and having a rear wall Ba, and a cord type air damper fixed to the support. The air damper has a cylinder, a piston connected with a base end of the cord and moved in the cylinder, and a spring energizing the piston in the cylinder. A tip end of the cord is mounted on the rear wall side of the storing body via a clip 2, and a U-turn part 11 U-turning the cord is formed to the side wall Bb of the storing body. On the other hand, a first stop part 7 tacking a clip at an upper edge of the rear wall Ba of the storing body and a second stop part 8 locking the clip are formed at a constant interval. After the clip is locked to the first lock part, the clip is only slid and locked to the second stop part, so that the tip end of the cord of the cord type air damper can be simply mounted.
