<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material of lithium cell anode with high energy density, excellent cycle characteristics and stable cell characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A surface plated layer made of an Ni layer, a Cu-Sn alloy layer and an Sn layer is formed in that order on the surface of a parent material made of Cu or a Cu alloy, with the Cu-Sn alloy layer made of a η layer (Cu<SB>6</SB>Sn<SB>5</SB>) of a thickness of 0.5 to 100 μm. After the surface of the parent material is coated with the Ni plated layer, it is coated with the Cu plated layer and the Sn plated layer in that order once, twice or more, and then is given a heat treatment to complete the Cu-Sn alloy layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
