<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printer which can enhance convenience for a user by enabling the display and printing of support information depending on the needs of the user. <P>SOLUTION: This tape printer is equipped with a printing means 11 for doing printing on a printing tape T, a support information storage means 85 wherein a plurality of pieces of the support information on the printer 1 itself and the printing tape T are prestored, a selection means for selecting arbitrary one of the pieces of the support information stored in the means 85, a display means 46 for displaying the support information, and a control means 16; and the control means 16 reads out one of the pieces of the support information, which is selected by the selection means, from the means 85 so as to display it on the display means 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
