<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of completely preventing image data from being viewed by a third person in the case of printing and outputting the image data unwanted to be viewed by the third person in the image forming device to be shared by a plurality of personal computers. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of transmitting printing data through a LAN to a digital copying machine 1, whether or not the printing data are secret data can be set. In the case that the printing data which are the secret data are supplied to the digital copying machine 1, whether or not paper sheets are discharged to a discharge tray 13 is discriminated before the printing data are printed (step S7).
