PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device for information processing which enables inputting multiple letters and codes with a small number of key strokes by just watching a screen keyboard even in a compact keyboard with a little number of keys. SOLUTION: This input device produces key codes more than the number of the keys disposed on the keyboard by simultaneously selecting 11, 11a and 11b the plurality of keys of the keyboard with a contact/close contact pushing sensor by a single finger and synthesizingly displays information of the key operation on the screen keyboard on a display. This input device can provide multiple key codes with a small number of keys and key strokes so as to miniaturize the keyboard and allows a user to input the letters without watching the keyboard but watching the display by a method of so-called touch typing.
