PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment setting system using an Internet network which is capable of realizing a normal personal computer function without any temporal or spatial restriction only by using a communication terminal having the minimum function necessary for communication. SOLUTION: A communication terminal 1 is connected through the Internet network 2 to an Internet provider 3. The internet provider 3 has a predetermined OS and an application program registered, and is provided with a storage part for storing the data of the user. The desired OS and application program environment in the Internet provider 3 are selected on the basis of information inputted from the information input part of the communication terminal 1, and the communication terminal 1 is used in the selected OS and application program environment.
