<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic signal amplifier capable of applying band division to an acoustic signal without the need for complicated connection and settings between devices. <P>SOLUTION: The acoustic signal amplifier is configured with: input terminals 101, 102, 103, 104 receiving external acoustic signals; band division means 111, 112, 113, 114 for dividing the received acoustic signals into high frequency acoustic signals with a frequency band higher than a frequency band of a reference frequency and low frequency acoustic signals with a frequency band lower than the frequency band of the reference frequency; a low frequency acoustic signal polarity inversion means 115 for inverting the polarity of the low frequency acoustic signals to produce an inverted low frequency acoustic signals; output drivers 131, 132, 133, 134 for amplifying the high frequency acoustic signals and the low frequency acoustic signals and for driving speakers connected to output terminals 141, 142, 143, 144 on the basis of the amplified signals; and a selection means 120 for selecting whether the output drivers amplify the high frequency acoustic signals and the low frequency acoustic signals or amplify the externally received acoustic signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
