PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display liquid for an electrophoresis display device utilizing fine particles having high electrophoretic velocity, free from colored dirt and contamination, and having excellent reflectance characteristics and memory properties. SOLUTION: In the display liquid for the electrophoresis display device containing at least one kind of electrophoretic fine particles containing a resin which is not dissolved in an electrically insulating solvent at a normal temperature and a coloring agent and an insulating solvent, at least one kind of the electrophoretic fine particles is formed from a composite formed by cooling the coloring agent and the resin solvated in the electrically insulating solvent by heat while stirring the mixture thereof to deposit the resin.
