摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for switching a high-speed optical path by surely compensating the temperature variation characteristics, from an initial setting time in an optical switch of three-dimensional constitution using an MEMS mirror, and to provide a control method. SOLUTION: The control device 20 has previously stored information on a reference temperature concerning the inclination angle of the MEMS mirror, corresponding to the setting of the optical path to an initial value memory 24A, acquires information concerning the inclination angle on the reference temperature by accessing the initial value memory 24A, when a changeover command of the optical path is received, reads the temperature of the optical switch 10 by accessing a temperature sensor 24B, calculates drive voltage compensating a deviation due to a temperature variation in the reference temperature, and gives it to the corresponding MEMS mirror, as the initial value of the drive voltage.
